OpenAI's safety committee to oversee security practices as an independent body

Microsoft-backed OpenAI has announced that its Safety and Security Committee will now oversee the development and deployment of its AI models. This move follows the committee's recommendations to enhance safety practices. OpenAI is also considering creating an Information Sharing and Analysis Center for the AI industry to share threat intelligence.
