Charlie White Signs for Poole!

Charlie White came through the Southampton academy before signing for Bristol Rovers and impressed, earning himself a professional contract in the summer.

The 18-year-old has played under Steve Tully before during his time with Bristol Rovers academy.

The left-sided defender has trained with the senior side when called upon and featured in first-team squads previously, making his first appearance on the bench against Crawley Town in a Carabao Cup first-round tie back in August 2022.

White also had a loan spell at Southern League Premier South side Tiverton Town last season.

Manager Steve Tully commented on his arrival as he said: “Delighted to get Charlie White on board, he’s a natural left wing back who I worked with at Bristol Rovers.

“He is a highly thought of player that will add a natural left sided player to add more competition for places, also very adaptable left sided centre half, I am delighted to be working with Charlie again.”
