South magnets are go
Hello Friends,
As of 0700 the wind was out of the west at 8-12 kts, skies were mostly sunny and the MHL buoy’s 0600 report tells us the swell is dead south, 3.5 metres at sea and 11.8 seconds apart. South exposures should be solidly overhead, but with that period, the open stretches are likely to be pretty walled up (ie, lots of shutdowns).
Queensie end was very busy and mostly under shoulder high on the rare, weak looking sets.

Another cold front is forecast to brush the coastal waters today. After this a high pressure system is expected to move overhead, followed by a trough arriving on Wednesday.
