Oil prices inch up on Fed rate cut outlook

Oil prices rose slightly on Monday amid expectations of a U.S. interest rate cut, though gains were limited by resumed U.S. supply after Hurricane Francine and weaker data from China. Brent crude futures for November increased by 0.2%, while U.S. crude futures for October went up by 0.3%.
