More traffic cameras in Limassol starting Monday

Three new traffic cameras will be rolled out in Limassol starting Monday, at the Spyrou Kyprianou and Ayias Fylaxeos traffic lights.

According to a police announcement on Sunday, the aim is to reduce serious and deadly crashes and increase road safety.

Limassol currently has cameras at the following locations:

  • intersection of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue with Despina and Nikos Pattihis Avenue and Archbishop Leontion A Avenue
  • intersection of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Omonia Avenue
  • intersection of Despina and Nikos Pattihis Avenue and Spyros Kyprianou Avenue
  • intersection of 28th October Avenue and Iakovos Tombazis Avenue
  • Crossing at King George I Avenue and Christakis Kranou Avenue
  • Intersection of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue and Agia Zoni Avenue
  • Crossing at Archbishop Makarios III Avenue and 28th October Avenue,
  • Crossing at Amathus Avenue, opposite Arsinoe Hotel
  • Crossing at Amathus Avenue and Ariadne Street
  • Port Road
  • Kato Polemidia
