Oregon inbetween weather systems on Sunday
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The scattered showers from Saturday are slowly pushing off to the east and that will allow for some sunshine to return to the region on Sunday, with high temperatures in the Willamette Valley in the low 70s with 60s along the Oregon Coast.
We will be inbetween systems Sunday as a ridge of high pressure slowly builds over the area.
The next system will take aim at the Pacific Northwest on Tuesday, bringing much cooler temperatures and as much as a half-inch of rain in the valley.
But don't despair because another ridge of high pressure will build late next week leading to a dry and warm weekend.
This is the time of the year when we see more and more variability from week to week in the overall weather pattern.
