Stellantis to invest $406 million at 3 factories, to meet UAW contract
DETROIT, Michigan: Stellantis, the maker of Jeep and Ram vehicles, announced plans to invest $406 million in retooling three Michigan factories to support the production of electric vehicles (EVs) and battery components.
This investment marks a step toward fulfilling the company's commitments under the labor agreement it reached with the United Auto Workers (UAW) union last fall, following a six-week strike.
