We've got a very warm and very dry weekend forecast ahead, which is great news for any outdoor plans, just not so great for the drought.

For both Saturday and for Sunday, expect mainly sunny skies, just a light breeze, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90. Luckily, humidity still remains fairly comfortable across the region, which means it won't feel any hotter than those air temps.

We kick off the next workweek with above-average temperatures holding in place. Expect highs in the upper 80s with sunshine on Monday. We'll then fall back to the middle 80s Tuesday, with just a few more clouds out midweek.

Shower chances remain very minimal, with just a slight chance going into next Wednesday as an area in the tropics moves up the East Coast.
