OK Humane Society highlights this weeks adoptable pets

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - OK Humane Society is seeking to assist families looking for the next addition to their home highlighting this weeks adoptable pets ready to go at the adoption center this weekend as part of the Underdog Adoption Event. 

According to OK Humane, the adoption event is held on the second weekend of every month. The event spotlights all the pups who have been in our program the longest, struggled to find foster homes, or have a special need. 

Meet Olaf!

Olaf is a really sweet dog who loves cuddling with his people. His hobbies include receiving affection and pets from the people he loves most, going on walks, and doing zoomies in the backyard. He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home. If given a slow introduction, Olaf can do well with other dogs of any size. He would do best in a home without feline friends. He has done well with children, but older children who can play comfortably with him would be best! In his foster home, he is working on new things like socialization, crate training, and house training, and has been doing great! With patience, love, and consistency, we know Olaf will thrive. Olaf is 7 years old and 68 pounds.

Meet Juniper Jr.!

Meet JJ! This girl is 1 year old and weighs 53 pounds. Once JJ warms up to new people, she loves to greet them with a wagging tail. She loves to go on walks and adventures with her favorite person. JJ can take a little time to get used to other dogs. But she loves to make new friends on her own time. She is potty and crate trained.

Meet Ollie!

Meet Ollie, the lively and lovable 7-year-old canine companion. Ollie is a handsome 75-pound male dog who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets with his endearing personality and his love for cuddling up next to his favorite people. Despite his robust nature, Ollie is a gentle giant, and his playful demeanor and affectionate nature make him a loyal friend, creating lasting bonds filled with joy and laughter. Ollie tends to be selective with his dog friends, so he will require slow and proper introductions. Ollie will also require a home without feline friends. Ollie is an avid walker and appreciates the simple pleasures of a stroll. Whether it's exploring the neighborhood or hiking through scenic trails, Ollie is always up for an outdoor adventure. His eagerness to explore make him a delightful companion for those who enjoy an active lifestyle.

In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Ollie has a knack for stealing hearts with his expressive eyes and wagging tail. Prepare for a life filled with wagging tails, playful antics, and a whole lot of love with this delightful 7-year-old pup!

Meet Hashbrown!

Meet Hashbrown! She is 3 years and 4 months old weighing 45 pounds. Hashbrown is ready to be your next best friend after overcoming a rough time in life. Sweet Hashbrown spent a long period of time with a cast on after being hit by a car, and eventual removal of her left front limb. She has recovered beautifully! She loves to run and jump and tumble. It’s hard to slow this three legged girl down! She loves people more than anything in this whole world (except for maybe snacks) and would rather be hanging out on a comfy couch with her human friends. She loves car rides and would love to be your sidekick on every adventure. Hashbrown is a little picky about her furry friends and would do best as the star of the show in a single-pet family.
