Maumee River area takes another step toward restoration goals

The Maumee River and other Toledo-area waterways are one step closer to meeting restoration goals outlined by a 1987 U.S.-Canada agreement, in part because Glass City Metropark is being used for some of the soil dug out of the Toledo shipping channel.
