LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The full 29-game, 2024-'25 Siena women’s basketball regular season schedule is complete with the announcement of the Saints' nine-game non-conference slate. The inaugural season of the Terry Primm Era features 15 home games at the UHY Center, 10 of which will be played on weekend dates.

The schedule is highlighted by a program-record six-game homestand encompassing the entire month of December. A total of 12 of the Saints 15 home games will be played on Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays on the Siena College campus at the UHY Center, eight of which will be contested on Saturdays. Moreover, all five weeknight games will feature family-friendly tip times of 6 p.m.

Following a preseason exhibition vs. American International College open to the public on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. at the UHY Center, regular season action commences just five days later. The Primm Era officially tips off when the Saints host Army West Point on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. at the UHY Center. The matchup vs. the Black Knights marks the second-earliest regular season opener in program history (Nov. 5, 2019 vs. Binghamton).

Siena will then alternate a four-game road trip followed by the six-game homestand, including four non-conference games at the UHY Center.

The Saints conclude opening weekend with a cross country trip to the Evergreen State to take on new Big Ten Conference member Washington on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Seattle. The programs will be meeting for the first time as Siena faces its first Big Ten foe since playing both Penn State and Rutgers in 2017.

The Saints return to the East Coast for three more road games to wrap up November. Siena travels to Penn (Nov. 13), Fordham (Nov. 23), and Central Connecticut (Nov. 26) to conclude the road portion of their non-conference schedule.

The Saints will then spend the entirety of the month of December at home, tipping off the month vs. Massachusetts on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. in the first game at the UHY Center in 25 days. The annual crosstown showdown for the Albany Cup returns to Loudonville when the Saints host UAlbany on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.

Siena wraps up non-conference action with home matchups vs. Binghamton (Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.) and Cornell (Monday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m.). Sandwiched in-between those two contests is the MAAC opening weekend vs. Niagara (Dec. 19) and Canisius (Dec. 21) at the UHY Center, as the Saints will ultimately have a 37-day stretch between road contests at Central Connecticut and Manhattan to tip off the New Year on Jan. 2.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference previously released the 20-game regular season league schedule in July. All 10 Siena MAAC home contests will be played on the fan-friendly days of Thursdays and Saturdays, highlighted by seven conference home games on Saturdays at the UHY Center. The 2025 MAAC Basketball Championships will return to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the sixth consecutive year from Tuesday, Mar. 11 through Saturday, Mar. 15.

Excitement surrounding the Siena women’s basketball program is high entering the first season of the Primm Era. Fresh off back-to-back MAAC Semifinals appearances and the program's most conference wins (14) in 21 years last winter, the Saints return three All-MAAC performers while also welcoming eight newcomers of which six are true freshmen.

Fans will have an opportunity to meet this year’s Siena Women’s Basketball team – along with the men’s squad – at the KeyBank Siena Basketball Sneak Preview next Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at MVP Arena. The annual preseason event is FREE to attend and open to all, and fans can also secure their season tickets in person that evening.
