All of these ingredients have flavoredthe speech of French Louisiana, yielding a unique dialect called CajunEnglish.The dialect is spoken mainly in southern Louisiana, althoughemigrations to southern Texas and southern Mississippi have resulted inpockets of Cajuns living in those areas.
