Who is Orson from Married At First Sight? MAFS groom and projects engineer from St Kitts & Nevis

OVER the years Married At First Sight has turned into a huge fan favourite, and now is back with a new batch of singletons.

Orson Nurse is set to wed a stranger and joins the line-up of grooms for MAFS 2024.

Meet Married at First Sight groom Orson Nurse[/caption]

Hailing from the Caribbean, Orson Nurse is a Project Engineer from St Kitts and Nevis.

However, he is swapping all that to star in Married At First Sight’s 2024 series.

Cherishing his heritage as a proud native of St Kitts, Orson
was raised by his mother and grandmother who instilled in him strong family values.

After dedicating his early life to playing cricket professionally, a career-ending injury forced him to retire and ultimately pursue a career in engineering.

Proud papa

Orson is dad to his two-year-old daughter.

He said that she is the “light of his life” and that he “puts her happiness above everything else”.

Orson wants to do his daughter proud, by getting married and putting his life in the hands of the experts.

Becoming a reality star

Orson joins the cast of Married At First Sight UK 2024 which will kick off on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 9pm on E4.

It will then air on weekdays except from Fridays.

The marriage experiment series is back for its ninth series following the dramatic events of season 8.

On the show, relationship experts Paul C Brunson and Mel Schilling will pair Orson with the bride they think he is most compatible with.

Looking for a deep connection

Orson said he signed up to MAFS as he wants to make a deeper connection with a future partner and dive back into the world of dating.

Speaking to Channel 4, he said: “I want to get married as I feel that is the only thing missing from my life.”

Orson is looking for someone who is very open, family orientated and spontaneous.
