France utterly condemns the Israeli air strike on September 11 against the Al-Jaouni school in the Nuseirat refugee camp that killed numerous civilians, including several UN staffers. France reiterates its call for the release of all hostages and – in light of the humanitarian emergency in Gaza – for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in order to protect civilian populations and provide massive, unhindered access to humanitarian aid, in accordance with UN Security Resolutions 2712 and 2720.
