FIR against Surat family for alleged stockbroker cheating after 18 years

Lalgate police have lodged an FIR against four family members for allegedly defrauding a stockbroker, Kerfegar Cooper, of Rs 47.24 lakh. The accused incurred trading losses in 2006 but did not settle their dues, forcing Cooper into financial hardship and mental distress. Despite promises to repay by selling land, no payment was made.
