'She was nasty!' Trump attacks debate moderators at rally — including David Muir's hair

Former President Donald Trump used the stage at an Arizona rally on Thursday to attack ABC News debate moderator David Muir, but when it was time to throw the insults, Trump came up short.

"His hair's not as good as it used to be," Trump told the audience.

This is at least the second time Muir's looks have become the topic of conversation following the debate. Comedian Jon Stewart took a different stance on Muir's appearance in his live recap of the debate.

"As per tradition in American politics, the first question always asked by the most handsome person in a 10-15 mile radius," Stewart said.

Muir began with a question about the economy, to which Stewart responded, "Oooooo! Yowza!"

He put on a pair of sunglasses, to pull them down so as to look over the tops of them at the journalist.

"Oh, yeah," he commented.

At his MAGA rally, Trump claimed he wouldn't watch ABC News anymore, implying he watched something other than Fox or Newsmax outlets.

"I'm not gonna watch him anymore. I'm not gonna watch him because he's not legit," Trump said to applause.

Muir notably spent time at the Institute on Political Journalism while in school and cut his teeth as a war correspondent on the ground in Israel and Gaza following the 1995 assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yizhak Rabin.

Trump later demanded that ABC fire both moderators.

"A couple more years, they'll be fired. And she was nasty and looked at me with hatred in her eyes," Trump claimed, appearing not to remember Linsey Davis' name.

When a previous debate was moderated by then Fox News host Megyn Kelly, Trump claimed she had "blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever."

Davis fact-checked Trump, but Muir did so far more frequently, even arguing with Trump over whether Trump knew a man whose dog was eaten by an immigrant.
