'He's a wrestler': Scaramucci 100% sure Trump will debate again and calls it a 'UFC thing'
A former Trump administration communications director — who is now a supporter of Kamala Harris — told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper he's "100 percent" certain his old boss will do a 180 and agree to another debate.
After his widely panned debate performance Tuesday night, Trump on Thursday promised in an all-caps rant on his Truth Social app that, "THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE."
Trump's refusal to agree to another debate was met with mockery, including from many within his own party.
But according to his former spokesman Anthony Scaramucci, not so fast.
"It's 100 percent that he's going to debate," Scaramucci told Cooper on Thursday night. "I'll make that prediction here. He's a wrestler. It's a UFC thing. He knows he lost the debate."

Scaramucci noted that he was in the debate spin room when Trump arrived and walked over to the desk of Fox News host Sean Hannity and declared himself the winner.
"He lost the debate," said Scaramucci. "He knows. Anderson, he never would've showed up in the spin room if he had won that debate."
Cooper agreed that candidates don't usually enter the spin room when they feel they've won the debate.
"Of course you don't do that," replied Scaramucci. "He knows he lost the debate. And he knows he's debating her again. But he has to have a build up. He thinks there's a negotiating chip. He's trying to show his macho flex."
Scaramucci added that he knew Trump was in trouble at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday ahead of the debate, even telling California Gov. Gavin Newsom, "He's landing the plane at 6:57 p.m. for a 9 p.m. show and he's not going to be ready. He's going to be unraveled."
The former Trump spokesman noted that John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon and Kamala Harris all arrived to the site of the debate a day before the debate.
"She looked well-rested. She was very well prepared. But he's Macho Man. He was probably playing the YMCA song 'Macho, Macho Man on the plane," added Scaramucci.
"That's not a stretch by the way," quipped Cooper, with a laugh. "He plays it everywhere."
