FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
Even thought remnant tropical moisture from Francine is approaching our area, a very stubborn high is flexing its muscles and keeping us dry. It will allow some clouds to return tonight and Friday however, but should keep the moisture to our southwest. Lows tonight will dip into the lower 60s. We will see numbers rebound to the upper 80s on Friday.
This weekend, the high will expand a bit, and will keep the area mainly dry, with an isolated shower possible down near Cincinnati area. Temps Saturday will remain in the upper 80s to near 90, and will stay right about the same on Sunday. Next week, we will watch as a disturbance off the Carolina coast will attempt to move up this way.
Expect mostly sunny skies for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. As that system approaches by mid-week, we will see clouds increase a bit, and could potentially have a few showers on Wednesday out in the east. While this is an area that desperately needs rain, it is good they have a chance in that area, but anything that falls will not make a dent in this drought. Highs will remain in the middle 80s into the end of next week.
