TOPEKA (KSNT) - Topeka's new Chick-fil-A location is set to open later this month.

A spokeswoman for Chick-fil-A said in a press release that a new location will be opening to serve locals at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. It will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and third-party deliveries from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday through Thursday with the drive-thru open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Our family moved to Topeka a decade ago, and from the start, the community greeted us with warmth and kindness," said Topeka Chick-fil-A owner-operator Justin Lamison. "We absolutely love it here, and we’re proud to call Topeka home. Now, with our two restaurants just seven miles apart, we remain dedicated to having a positive impact on everyone we meet. Our goal is for Chick-fil-A 17th & Wanamaker and South Topeka Blvd to be beloved restaurants on both sides of the counter.”

Customers who show up to the new south Topeka Chick-fil-A can also expect to get their hands on two fan-favorite menu options: the honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich and the banana pudding milkshake. These are available while supplies last.

The new restaurant gives 80 jobs to the community and is the second location to open in the Capital City. You can find it at 3231 Southwest Topeka Boulevard.
