US judge dismisses three counts in Trump election case in Georgia

A Georgia judge has dismissed three counts in the indictment against former US president Donald Trump and his co-defendants, who are accused of conspiring to overturn the 2020 election results. Two of the dismissed charges involved Trump, reducing his total felony counts in Georgia to eight. The case remains paused pending an appeals court decision.
