Adam Peaty’s ex Eiri Munro shared emotional post hours before Strictly star announced engagement to Holly Ramsay
STRICTLY star and Olympian Adam Peaty’s ex-girlfriend shared an emotional post just hours before he announced his engagement to Holly Ramsay.
Artist Eiri Munro paid a glowing tribute to her and Adam’s young son George as he celebrated his fourth birthday.
She wrote: “Happy birthday to the brightest star in the universe. Four years of the most warm and radiant light. Four years of the most glorious and contagious joy.
“Four years of the most gentle and chaotic energy. What an honour to know you and to know that I am yours and you are mine.”
Proud dad Adam also marked the occasion with a public social media post, writing: “Happy birthday to the brightest star in the universe. Four years of the most warm and radiant light. Four years of the most glorious and contagious joy.

The world record holder, 29, had more to celebrate recently when he popped the question to Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, 24.
Holly shared the news with the world today, writing: “I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now.
“I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you.
“Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife.”
Revealing how she relishes being stepmum to George, she added: “I promise to always be there with you and George, I’m so grateful to be in his life and I cannot wait for more.”
Adam shared his own post and wrote: “I can’t believe you’re going to be my wife.
“I’m truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman by my side. You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.”
The couple met through Holly’s sister Tilly, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing with Adam in late 2021.
Earlier this year they revealed matching tattoos, with Holly getting the letter A by her ear while Adam inked H on his chest.
Chef and dad-of-six Gordon was quick to comment on the engagement news.
He shared a sweet post on social media and wrote: “Congratulations to this gorgeous girl @hollyramsay… so happy for you and @adam_peaty!
“Hols, watching you become the woman you are today with your kindness and your love is absolutely infectious.”
He added: “Adam is a very lucky man. Welcome to the family!”
Gordon is said to have given Adam his blessing to marry Holly last month.
A source told OK! Magazine: “Gordon really approves of Adam, he’s definitely got the Ramsay seal of approval!
“Gordon is actually a former footballer himself, he’s good friends with the Beckhams, and he really appreciates all the sacrifices and training that a top sportsman like Adam puts into his career.
“He really likes Adam, how he treats Holly and is ready to give his blessing if he proposes to his daughter, which is seeming very likely. He would love the Olympian to be part of the family.”
