The Hibees will be hoping to claim their first league win of the campaign, after frustrating draws to Dundee and Kilmarnock in our last two fixtures.

Those results mean we currently sit ninth in the league table, one point behind Saturday’s visitors, St Johnstone.

TEAM NEWS

The Hibees will welcome back several players who have been on international duty over the break.

Martin Boyle, Lewis Miller, Nathan Moriah-Welsh, Rocky Bushiri, Nohan Kenneh, Kieron Bowie and Rudi Molotnikov were all away representing their various nations and age grades and will return ahead of this weekend.

Unfortunately, Kieron Bowie suffered a hamstring injury featuring for Scotland U21s against Malta and the extent of his injury will be assessed in the coming days.

David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.

THE VISITORS

St Johnstone have picked up three points from their opening four matches.

The Saints claimed an impressive three points on the road against Kilmarnock, but have lost to Aberdeen (1-2), Dundee United (2-0), and most recently Motherwell (1-2).

Craig Levein will be without forward Adama Sidibeh, who is suspended on Saturday, after he was sent off against Dundee United and received a four match ban.

We played St Johnstone four times last season, picking up six points out of a possible 12. The last time the two sides met, we emerged 3-1 winners at McDiarmid Park in April 2024.
