FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Thursday!

Our warm and dry stretch continues today, with temperatures rebounding back to the upper 80s this afternoon. Clouds will gradually build in this afternoon, as a result of tropical moisture from Francine nudging its way into the Ohio Valley. This will also bring a bit of a southeasterly breeze to the region.

Unfortunately, we're not looking at much in the way of rain from this system. High pressure pushes most of that rain off to our west, so at best, we're looking at an isolated sprinkle, mainly southwest of the city, going into the weekend.

For Friday, expect partly sunny conditions, with highs sticking in the upper 80s.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds for Saturday and Sunday, with highs remaining in the upper 80s.

Our above-average temperature trend continues through the end of the extended period.
