Breezy and Drier Today

Francine continues to weaken and move further away from Louisiana but Acadiana will see some minimal impacts today. Very warm, breezy, and humid conditions are expected as highs approach the mid 80s under partly sunny skies. Northwesterly winds could gust around 20 to 35 mpg, especially this morning. Also, a few spotty showers are possible during the afternoon.

A taste of Fall returns to the area tonight with cooler and comfortable conditions. Overnight lows should be close to the mid-60s. Quiet weather is in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, followed by isolated rain chances Sunday into next week.
