Former Trump lawyer flags 'another unforced and absolutely stupid error' from ex-president

Jenna Ellis, former legal advisor and counsel to Donald Trump, on Wednesday night highlighted what she called yet another "unforced and absolutely stupid error" from the former president.

Ellis, who previously agreed to the suspension of her Colorado law license after pleading guilty to participating in a conspiracy to overturn Trump's election loss in Georgia in 2020, has maintained her support for the ex-president despite her legal woes.

After Trump's widely panned debate performance, however, Ellis said that Trump was making another major mistake.

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign on Wednesday quoted a CNN report from Jake Tapper, who said that "Trump is traveling with a veritable legion of doom of bigots and liars."

"Perhaps none so depraved as this woman, Laura Loomer. Just on Sunday, she posted an insanely racist message that if Harris, whose mom was an Indian immigrant, wins, the White House will 'smell like curry and White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center,'" Tapper said. "On this 23rd anniversary of 9/11, we should also note Loomer posted last year that 9/11 was 'an inside job.' Trump continues to bring this person along on his travels with him."

Loomer responded by saying, "the Left SMEARS THOSE THEY FEAR."

"I am very effective and my reports have dominated the news cycle these last few weeks and Kamala Harris would rather share [Tapper's] attacks on me than answer for why her husband has a love child, and why she’s sending checks to the home address of Judge Merchan’s daughter’s house in the middle of the Presidential election," she wrote. "I don’t care if the media finds my factual posts offensive."

That's when Ellis stepped in, saying, "This is another unforced and absolutely stupid error on Trump’s part."

"He should completely disavow this lunatic," Ellis added.

Ellis isn't the only one to have a problem with Loomer's connection to Trump. Marjorie Taylor Greene also recently lashed out at Loomer, who in turn suggested Greene loves saying the "N" word in private.
