India's cooking oil imports down by 16% in August, says SEA

India's edible oil imports in August 2024 fell by 16% compared to the same month last year, according to the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India. Overall imports for the first ten months of the current oil year also saw a slight decline. Palm oil imports decreased, while soft oil imports rose marginally.
