Bangladesh govt urges Hindu community to halt Durga Puja activities during azaan, namaaz

Bangladesh's interim government has asked the Hindu community to pause Durga Puja activities, especially musical instruments, five minutes before and during prayer times. Home Affairs Adviser Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury announced this ahead of the celebrations. Security measures will be in place at the 32,666 puja mandaps set up across the country.
