It’s been a good year for music releases — especially for those of us who love an easygoing pop song. That’s why I’m extra excited for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary and will feature performances by Eminem, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Lisa, and Rauw Alejandro, to name a few. Plus, there will be three timely performances from each member of this little love triangle: Camila Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter, and Shawn Mendes (separately, of course).
