Megan Thee Stallion is paying homage to Britney Spears!

The 29-year-old “Savage” rapper served as host at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday (September 11) at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

During one part of the show, Megan came out in in a green bra, low-waisted blue bottoms with dangling, beads and a long tulle train – exactly like the costume Britney, 42, wore 23 years ago while performing “I’m a Slave 4 U” at the 2001 VMAs.

Megan even had a real albino python wrapped around her just like Britney, but she wasn’t as cool with the snake as the popstar was.

“I’m just playing. Come get the snake. I don’t know this snake, this snake don’t know me. Oh my god,” Megan said as the wrangler came over and took away the snake.
