The sheriff's office said the boys, both of Bayou Vista, were arrested Sunday morning and charged with the following:

On Sunday, authorities said a parent reported that her son and his friend may have committed several vehicle burglaries in the Bayou Vista area.
A deputy met with the complainant and the mother of the other boy who said she had evidence showing her son and the friend had possibly committed the crimes, authorities said.
The two juveniles claim they broke into "at least 25 vehicles" in the area, authorities said.
"Through the investigation, the deputies retrieved stolen property and other evidence," the sheriff's office said.
