Third threat made against Bethlehem CSD

BETHLEHEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Bethlehem Central School District is facing its third threat of violence in 24 hours. School officials said the latest threat claimed gun violence on Thursday at the middle and high school.

The Bethlehem Police Department will have additional officers at both schools on Thursday as well as personnel and patrols assigned to all elementary schools.

The first threat was made Tuesday night. The caller threatened to “shoot up Bethlehem High School.” A threat made against outdoor activities at Bethlehem High School was made Wednesday afternoon.

Counselors will also be made available in every building.
