How things have changed...

0
We used to stand on the Kop with piss running down the steps, and the corrugated hut at the back of the Kop selling pies that were barely warm, but the bovril was ok ....

These are some of the faults that have been highlighted by fans following the pre-season games and the Reading game...
Facilities - Issues highlighted by supporters and members:

Ladies' toilets (Kop and Tilton) were flooded and had non-functional flushing.
Dark toilets near Box2Box (Kop Ladies) made use difficult without mobile phone torches.
Toilets lacked soap and had malfunctioning hand dryers.
Disabled toilets were in poor condition, with overcharges for food and drinks at the disabled kiosk and non-functional beer pumps.
Visually impaired fans struggled with faded markings on steps and unclear signage, which included wet floor signs.
Insufficient space in concourses to place food or drinks, leading to food being placed on the ground.
Slow service at concession stands and long wait times for food and drinks, particularly during half-time.
Fan zones sold different drinks than those available inside the ground (e.g., wines and fruit cider).
Audio Descriptive Commentary (ADC) device malfunctioned for most of the first half.
Limited and confusing self-service machines in Box2Box, with slow service and crowded conditions.
Lack of clear information on screens for match details, substitutions, or half-time messages.
Areas of the ground, especially female toilets and Kop toilets, were in poor condition, including peeling paint and blocked facilities.
Concession stands ran out of food before kick-off.
Fans found the PA system inaudible in certain rows (Kop, Tilton, and Arthur’s areas).
Insufficient bins for collecting cups for donations and general litter.
Insufficient availability of drinks and no Guinness as promised.
TV screens in Tilton concourse were switched off at half-time.
The Main Stand lacked external drink concessions and was overcrowded.
No Wi-Fi around the ground.
Lack of counter space in Arthur's area for food and drinks.

Incident Reports - Issues highlighted by supporters and members:

There was a lack of stewarding in the Tilton. There was pushing due to crowd congestion.
Lack of female stewards at turnstiles and poor management of disabled fan access, with insufficient trained stewards in critical areas.
Stewards were unable to guide fans to certain areas (e.g., Box2Box) and were unsure of procedures for health emergencies, leading to slow responses when a fan fainted.
Concerns over flares brought in by away fans, which raised safety issues.
