Stoichkov gives away CSKA Sofia shares as he takes Eastern European role with FIFA
September 11 – Bulgarian playing legend Hristo Stoichkov has donated his shares in CSKA Sofia to the club’s majority owner the ‘National Fund for Sport, Culture, Art and Science’ in order to prevent any accusations of a conflict of interest as begins a new job with FIFA.
Stoichkov (pictured) will be responsible for FIFA’s projects in Eastern Europe after accepting the role following an invitation from FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
Stoichkov will remain part of CSKA Sofia,
