Temperatures max at 36C, isolated showers in the afternoon

Seasonal low pressure is gradually subsiding, giving way to mild higher pressure.

Thursday will start off mainly fine, with local clouds in the afternoon and isolated showers in the mountains and eastern part of the island.

Winds will be a variable gentle breeze, 3 Beaufort, turning southwest to northwest, gentle to moderate breeze, 3 to 4 Beaufort in the afternoon and a fresh breeze, 5 Beaufort, along the south coast.

The sea will be slight to moderate.

Temperatures will reach 36C inland, 33C along the coast and 27C in the highest mountains.

Thursday evening will be partly cloudy, mainly in the west and north.

Winds will be west to northwest, gentle to moderate breeze, 3 to 4 Beaufort.

The sea in the west will be slight to moderate.

Temperatures will drop to 21C inland, 23C along the coast and 16C in the highest mountains.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mainly fine, although at times there will be passing clouds.

Temperatures will drop slightly on Friday and will remain around the average for the season till Sunday.
