Justin Timberlake reaches plea deal to resolve drunken driving case, AP source says

Prosecutors say Justin Timberlake will enter a new plea in his drunken driving case in New York’s Hamptons. Details of the plea weren’t disclosed, but a person with knowledge of the deal said Timberlake has agreed to plead guilty Friday to a less serious offense than the original charge of driving while intoxicated. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the case. Timberlake’s attorney declined to comment. Timberlake was arrested on June 18 after police said he ran a stop sign in the village center, veered out of his lane and got out of his BMW smelling of alcohol.
