Essel Infra faces insolvency on J&K Bank's application

The National Company Law Tribunal has admitted Jammu and Kashmir Bank's plea to start insolvency proceedings against Essel Infraprojects Ltd. The lender claims the company defaulted on dues of ₹87.43 crore. Hemant J Mehta has been appointed as interim resolution professional for the case.
