PwC Laying Off 1,800 Employees in First Formal Cuts Since 2009

PricewaterhouseCoopers’s U.S. unit is laying off about 1,800 workers, its first formal layoffs in years, and restructuring its products and technology group to simplify operations and address declining demand for certain advisory services.
