Man charged after truck drives into home in Newfane

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County man is facing charges after allegedly crashing a truck into a home in Newfane late Tuesday night, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Christopher Fredrick, 40 and of Gasport, is accused of driving while intoxicated and driving the truck into the home, located on the 3200 block of Lockport Olcott Road around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He is charged with the following:
- driving while intoxicated - one previous conviction
- driving while intoxicated .08% or more
- aggravated unlicensed operation
- multiple vehicle an traffic law violations
There were no injuries. There is also no estimate to damages of the home. Fredrick was remanded to the Niagara County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
