So if you’re looking to treat yourself to some new shoes for Autumn, then you’ll need to check this out.

The Primark store in Basildon took to social media to show shoppers the much-loved chain’s new range of shoes – but whilst some fashionistas have gone wild, not everyone is as convinced.

Posting online, the chain gave shoppers a close-up look inside the Basildon store and penned: ‘The perfect shoe for Autumn.’

The fashion retailer then wrote: ‘Calling all Autumn girlies’, as they proudly gave fashion fans a glance at the new-in clogs and open-toed furry sliders.

And if the thought of spending £150 on the popular Birkenstock clogs sends shivers down your spine, then you’ll need to check out Primark’s affordable alternative.

Priced at just £9, Primark’s new clogs are strikingly similar to the fan favourite buy, and will save you an impressive £141.

The clogs, which have a buckle detail and a chunky sole for a statement feel, come in a dark brown and a light tan colour, as well as fur-lined pairs too.

The fur-lined pairs are just £1 extra, at only £10, and are also available in a gorgeous grey colour.

Not only this, but there’s also open-toed shoes too – with double strapped, fur sliders, in cream and brown, for only £9 each.

The comfortable and stylish shoes are made with a memory foam base and are sure to turn heads and make a statement.

Whether you choose to wear them as house shoes or style them with casual looks for running errands, these shoes are bound to leave you open-mouthed this season.

The fashion favourite store then advised bargain hunters: ‘Run to Primark’.

BIG DIVIDE

The TikTok clip, which was shared on the official @primarkbasildon page, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 197,000 views.

But many shoppers weren’t totally keen on the shoes, and rushed to the comments to share their thoughts.

One person said: “I like them but feet will get soaked in this weather and some look like slippers.”

Another added: “My feet would be freezing.”

The best selling Primark nostalgia pieces

IF it's nostalgia you're looking for, look no further than Primark.

Primark’s Miffy pyjama range left many shoppers feeling incredibly nostalgic recently.

Fashion fans claimed their ‘inner child was screaming’ when they spotted High School Musical and Hannah Montana sets on shelves.

90s fashionistas were left beaming when they spotted that leopard print maxi skirts had come back on trend.

But the new baby tees gave some shoppers ‘awful flashbacks’ to their teens.

And millennials were left divided when they spotted that ballet flats were back on shelves.

A third commented: “Not a fan.”

However, other fashion fans have raved about the affordable shoes on social media – praising their appearance and comfort.

One woman beamed: “Gonna stock up.”

A second chimed in: “Love these.”

Whilst someone else claimed: “Feel like I’m walking on clouds.”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
