Fierce fire destroys Valletta shop

A fierce blaze gutted a lower Valletta grocery on Tuesday and damaged an overlying apartment.The blaze, in St Paul Street, was extinguished by firefighters of the Civil Protection Department, which issued these pictures on Wednesday.No one was injured.
