A MUM has left social media users in hysterics after her purchase of a wig ended up total disaster.
The anonymous mum became an internet sensation after her daughter, only known as Shaniquee, took to TikTok to share the hair-rific fail.
According to the 20-year-old beauty lover, from the UK, her mum had forked out £60 for the wig, which was a short braided bob.
Over the last few years, the chic hairdo has become all the rage – both amongst influencers and on fashion catwalks – and it’s easy to see why.
Not only is the glam cut ”super sophisticated” but can also give you a free facelift if done correctly, experts have said.
Unfortunately for the mum, however, it didn’t quite go to plan, as daughter Shaniquee couldn’t control her laughter when she proudly showed off the buy on her head.
As the 20-year-old was filming her mother styling the wig, she immediately began laughing, the video showed.
”If you laugh, you go to Hell,” the mother, rocking a baby blue polo T-shirt, hit back.
With the £60 purchase styled and adjusted as much as possible, the mother then turned around – and it was game over for Shaniquee (@_shaniqueeex) whose priceless reaction left others in hysterics.
The short hairdo, of a gorgeous deep brown colour, had the bottom section fully rolled up – and social media users quickly noted it looked like a winter essential.
”Nahh, it looks like the crochet hats,” one person said.
Another was totally baffled, wondering: ”Wig or bucket hat???”
Meanwhile, a third spotted a striking resemblance between the hat and a children-loved animated character.
”It’s giving Strawberry Shortcake.”
”I’m cackling,” someone else was left in stitches.
”Aunty threatened you with hell and you still couldn’t control it.”
