Exact date Aldi will bring back sell-out Bluey chairs as shoppers say ‘we need to go’
ALDI has revealed the exact date its popular Bluey chairs will return to stores and shoppers are going wild.
The discounter is set to bring back the plush children’s armchair, which features Bingo and Bluey on Sunday, September 22.
Bluey is a cartoon TV show, which follows the life of a seven-year-old dog and her family.
It is the number-one show on CBeebies in the UK.
Shoppers went crazy for the soft chairs when they were first sold in Aldi back in April, charging £24.99 for the seat.
Aldi has confirmed to The Sun the product will sell for £5 less when it lands in stores in just two weeks.
A spokesperson said: “This adorable armchair is made with high-quality plush and a soft filling, providing an ideal spot for kids to kick back and relax.
“What’s more it’s cheaper than ever before, being sold at £19.99 compared to £24.99 in April.”
They added: “Bluey enthusiasts better be quick if they want to get their paws on this playroom must have, as with all Specialbuys, once they are gone, they are gone.”
At the time of the last release, the retailer also sold a range of Bluey plush toys and a four-figure set of characters as part of its Special Buys range.
It is not clear yet if any other Bluey-themed products will be sold alongside the armchair.
Talk of the cartoon-inspired chairs making a return has excited customers.
One Facebook user said they would “camp outside Aldi” to get their hands on the chair.
While another said they “need to go” when the product eventually lands in the middle aisles.
A third said that online retailer Game UK is selling identical Bluey chairs for £26.99 if shoppers do not manage to get their hands on one.
However, you will have to factor in a £4.99 delivery cost if you shop from this retailer.
The chairs are just one of many popular products set to return to Aldi in the coming weeks.
