Punters in Cornish cafe amazed when Hollywood A-listers turn up for breakfast – before they pop to local Asda

ZENDAYA and Tom Holland left locals stunned when they ordered breakfast in a remote Cornish cafe – and revealed they were heading to Asda

Locals and tourists might have been thrilled to rub elbows with the A-list duo, but cafe owner Helen Woodward had no idea they were famous.

Zendaya and Tom apparently enjoyed their Cornish pitstop without the typical Hollywood fuss.

The couple, best known for starring together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, picked the Ramshackle Rosie cafe in Par for breakfast on Tuesday morning.

They sipped orange juice and dined on pancakes — all without so much as a selfie request from the unsuspecting staff.

“They came in and I was busy serving a couple.

“They were absolutely, really, really nice, really pleasant.

“She ordered pancakes with maple syrup and a hash brown and he ordered a Zeppelin, which is mainly sausage. They just had two juices.

“There were no airs and graces. They were just two down-to-earth people.”

It wasn’t until after the couple left, that the penny finally dropped for Helen.

Local Rob Sheldon recognised them immediately.

He was eating in the café when the pair sat down next to him and he couldn’t believe it.

“He spoke to us about my dog and stroked him,” Rob told ITV West Country.

“We gave them no acknowledgement that we knew who they were. Then after they left I said to the owner, ‘you know that was Spider-Man right.’

“It was a bit surreal, they seemed very down to earth though and he said after breakfast they would go to Asda, which he compared to the American ‘Target’.

“To be fair though, it’s an awesome café.”

For the unassuming cafe, it’s now a tale to dine out on for years to come.
