Mum-of-22 Sue Radford left in ‘shock’ as her youngest child starts primary school and another begins secondary
SHE’S got 22 children, so probably never envisioned being left with an empty nest.
But that day finally arrived this week, as Sue Radford‘s youngest child Heidie started primary school.
The family matriarch took to Instagram to mark the occasion, sharing a picture of her little girl cheekily posing for the camera.
“Well that’s it, our last baby has started school,” Sue wrote alongside the picture.
“She absolutely loved it and went in yesterday no problem at all.
“She took a little present in for her best friend that she had bought her while on holiday she knew exactly what she wanted to get and asked every day to buy it.”
It was also a big day for 11-year-old Casper, who started secondary school.
“Casper had a brilliant day,” Sue continued.
“Although his description of the toilets had us in stitches!”
It was a busy summer holidays for the family, which concluded with a trip to Florida and a stay on a swanky cruise ship.
And Sue added that packing so much in to the six-week break has just made her miss the kids even more now that their new reality has set in.
“I’m really missing them so much now they’ve gone back to school,” Sue sighed.
“Does anyone else feel like this?
“I think when we are lucky enough to get to spend the summer holidays together it’s such a shock when they go back.
“But they’ve all settled in brilliantly!”
Sue concluded by writing “I hope all your little people are enjoying being back at school” and adding hashtags “#soblessed #firstdayofschool #love”.
She also shared another snap of Heidie flashing the peace sign to the camera, as she added: “The sass! She’s so funny.”
This week also marked another big occasion in the Radford family – namely the fourth birthday of Millie Radford’s daughter Ophelia.

Millie took to Instagram to share pictures of her little girl and the birthday celebrations, which ended with Ophelia beaming widely at the camera as she was presented with a huge cake.
“The cheekiest little girl I could have wished for. We love you lots,” Millie wrote over a funny picture of her daughter, tagging her fiancé Harley Passmore.
Harley also marked the occasion on his Instagram page, sharing a snap of himself and Ophelia, and writing: “Happy 4th birthday our not so little girl anymore.
“Hope you have the best day. I love you lots!”
