Hibs Women are back in action this Sunday as we host Queen's Park at Meadowbank!
THE LOWDOWN
Kick-off is at 1pm on Sunday 15 September at Meadowbank Stadium.
The Hibees will be looking to bounce back from an extremely disappointing result last Friday when they take on newly-promoted Queen's Park on Sunday (13:00 kick-off).
In our last match, we faced Hearts in the Edinburgh Derby at Easter Road. The away raced into a three-goal lead by half-time, before later adding a fourth in the second half.
Despite our derby defeat, we remain only two points behind Hearts and Glasgow City in the league following our strong start to the campaign – giving the girls the opportunity to restore parity against two of our biggest divisional rivals on Sunday.
THE VISITORS
Hibs take on Queen's Park for the first time in an SWPL fixture this weekend.
Queen's Park have started life admirably in the SWPL – having been promoted to the top-flight for the first time following their 2023/24 SWPL2 title triumph.
An 11-1 defeat to Celtic on the opening day of the season gave the Glasgow side a baptism of fire to the first tier, but The Spiders have won two league games since – defeating Spartans and Dundee United, respectively.
Two victories against the teams around them have propped Queen's Park up to eighth-place in the SWPL standings, three places behind Hibernian who currently sit in fifth.
HOW TO WATCH
The match will be hosted at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday 15 September. Kick-off is at 1pm.
