Ochsner closes some clinics, cancels procedures due to Hurricane Francine

LOUISIANA (KLFY) -- Ochsner Health announced that elective procedure appointments and operational hours for some clinics and urgent cares have been changed due to Hurricane Francine.
In a news release, the health system emphasized that all Ochsner Hospital emergency departments will continue to operate normally during the storm.
Below are details on closures or modified hours:
Bayou Region (includes St. Mary)
- All clinics and urgent care locations will be closed on Wednesday
- Elective procedures that were set for Wednesday are canceled
Lafayette
- Urgent Care locations will close at noon on Wednesday
- Clinic appointments at all Ochsner Lafayette General clinic locations that were set for Wednesday are canceled
- Ochsner Acadia General Hosptial (Crowley) & Ochsner American Legion Hospital (Jennings) will continue normal operations and elective procedures until noon Wednesday. All elective procedures after noon on Wednesday are canceled.
Clinics are expected to reopen and elective procedures are expected to resume as normal on Thursday, pending on storm status and operations, according to the news release.
