OKCPD respond to shooting in SE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a reported shooting Tuesday evening in Southeast Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, a shooting was reported in the area of Southeast 45th Street and Byers Avenue.

Police say when they arrived they found a man walking around with a gunshot wound in his leg. They determined the gunshot had taken place in a different location.

Officials believe the shooting was accidental or self-inflicted after speaking with a witness nearby.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
