Person fatally shot in Englewood

A person was shot to death Tuesday evening in Englewood on the South Side.

The male, whose age was not known, was on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South Yale Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside got out and shot him about 6:30 p.m., Chicago police said.

The male was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests were made.
