Police find stolen car with child inside in Franklinton

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A child was recovered safely when Columbus police located them and a stolen vehicle Tuesday.

Dispatchers told NBC4 that officers recovered the vehicle in the area of South Davis Ave and the Mount Carmel building in Franklinton, but did not provide a specific address. When they approached the car, they found a child inside of it.

The child did not have any injuries, according to dispatchers. They did not share the child's age, or whether a suspect had been apprehended alongside the vehicle.
