FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Tuesday Evening,
It has been another beautiful day with with sunshine, and temps a few degrees above normal. Temps will be closer to normal tonight with lows in the 50s, with mid to upper 50s in the city. Wednesday will be a slightly warmer day with sunny skies, and highs in the upper 80s. We will remain in the upper 80s Thursday with a few clouds returning.
Friday will be a day of slight change, as clouds will increase ahead of the remnants of Francine moving up the Mississippi River. We should see sunshine early, with more clouds later, and temps slightly cooler in the middle 80s. Over the weekend, the majority of the model data is keeping us stubbornly dry, but increasing clouds a bit.
It should be noted that the track of Francine has shifted a bit to the east today, so it warrants still keeping low end precip chance into the weekend, as some of this remnant moisture could spill into the state, with the best chances in the west and southwest. Temps will remain above normal in the middle 80s for the weekend with partly cloudy skies. Next week we will continue this warm and fairly dry pattern with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
